Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Hey Ulrik ! This is definitely the first singing take I've ever seen in the REC !
I think you're holding back a little bit which is making it harder for you to get the exact pitch in some of those notes. The further into the song you get, the more confident you become. I think if you sing a bit louder, with more purpose you'll find it easier to stay with the melody -------------------- |

Hi Ulrik! Congrats on this singing take mate!
I can't give you technical recommendations but I can say that your singing is good, you keep the pitch most of the time but you have to adjust your intonation a bit more. Keep on practicing! -------------------- Visit my Personal Board

Great to see a singing take in this section! I think you did well considering how hard this piece is.
Main focus point should probably be the intonation and precision when hitting the notes. I think you have a very good voice and you got to be very expressive in this take. -------------------- Need to ask about anything GMC related? Send me a pm

Hey Ulrik! I also think it is a good attempt at this lesson
Try to smile when singing, even exaggerate the stance and breathe short before each phrase, without having the breath heard. It's the same sensation that you have when someone enters the room and you are surprised This technique will raise your larynx and the smile will keep it like that - it takes a bit of practice, but it will work. If you need more input on this, write me a PM and we can discuss about it Cosmin This post has been edited by Cosmin Lupu: Jun 2 2012, 11:57 AM -------------------- My music:
