Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Original lesson: Progressive Etude (in B Minor Scale) by Carlos Carrillo

Had some problem with syncing video and audio, but it seems to be fine now. :)

Strong take.. your hand co ordination is improving a lot ! The only thing that made it a 9 instead of a 10 is some unwanted notes ringing in a few places. It happens mostly on the highest shapes. It could be that your picking hand is not muting any of the other strings so there's excess string frequencies vibrating.

I liked this take a lot! Good sound and good timing! A few notes were wrong and some string noise came out!
Good job! 9 from me!

Hey my friend! Strong take, but a little polishing needed on the string noise - nothing you can't take care of wink.gif I am sure!

Congratulations and 9 it is!
