When I find some time I sit down and write a song and immediately record it. I don't care too much about slurred lyrics or bad guitar playing. Usually I use the first take and try to not edit anything. Sounds stupid but for me its more about the feeling of the moment than a perfect end product. Against all the rules but I am usually happier with a spontaneous recording. Anyway for this one I got some nice feedback from the wife of the actor Andy Whitfield (of spartacus fame) who I refer to in this song.
If you like some folky stuff give it a listen http://www.reverbnation.com/open_graph/song/13505115 |

Nice one man! But, how did she find out about the song? donated some money for some Andy Whitfield docu and also followed her blog on twitter. She followed me back apparently and when I posted the song on twitter and stated that I got inspired by learning about Whitfields death she listended to it and dropped me a line. |
