Apperantly all metalheads sold their soul to the devil and the illuminati, and to the freemasons and allistar crowley.

There is a video on that channel which makes the same accusations about people playing rock music.

The drumming eyes closed made me chuckle, that's like taking fret markers off a guitar. laugh.gif
Selling souls? Isn't that the deal that blues players make?

To me, I guess it doesn't bother me at all. I don't really pay attention to lyrics I go for the if I can bang my head to it. But everyone is blamed at one time or another. You have what? Ozzy, Black Sabbath, The Eagles, and so on. But how many people will mention the crazy listing of a well loved band "The Beatles"?

Sir Aleister Crowley right there, on the cover.

Just checked the other videos on their channel...man, are these people for real?
Guess they are just a minority (hopefully), but still...scary.
The video "should christians respect other religions" is just wrong.
I'll keep listening to rock and metal biggrin.gif Wonder what they have to say about christian metal bands?

According to this channel lady gaga is the centerpiece in satan's plan (and the illuminati, because in their eyes they are the same) for world domination

There are currently 3 main forms of satanism
1) Historical satanism or the original satanism : this is pure devil worshipping, believing the devil is the true god, they do believe in the christian god. The followers of this religion are almost extinct.
2) Modern satanism: Believen in yourself, satan is your own soul
Also modern satanism does not believe in god nor the devil (you cannot have one without the other)
They hold the individualism of each soul high, some of their guidelines are only believe what you see/feel for yourself, don't take wisdom from books unless you can verify them
3) New forms of satanism : This form is more a cult or a sekt instead of a religion. They come in different size's and beliefs, One example I know of is the temple of the black light or the Misantropian Luciferian Order. And the video below is from A band they supported and where the band members are members from this cult.

Not the satanic metal you had expected?

Ps: I hold everyone's religion high, I respect every religion out there and I do not want to offend anyone with this post or thread.

After reading that all I could think of is some sort of speech from Tom Cruise talking about Scientology.

This is a bit silly isn't it ? Let's face it wink.gif

I do feel sorry for these people. They're caught in a limbo, fighting an imaginary battle which they are convinced exists. I'm amazed at the sanity of some people.. people go on about criminals etc but can we seriously say the mindset of some of these people is sane ? Really ? There are a lot of people out there that need serious mental help.

Nothing funny about that. I wouldn't say it has anything to do with what music genre you enjoy - even Christians play metal, rock, etc. However, some band lyrics are clearly satanic driven, subliminal messaging to go against God, give in to satan, commit suicude, consider yourself worthless, and some even mock Christians, etc, no joke about that - it makes you wonder why.

Stairway to Heaven is an amazing example of what people can put into their music. Just play it backwards.

Hear why its sung here, oppositioner..
Allll on track, all arriving
They all sing, and they are one.
Shall I loathe you now, parishoner?
Oh hear Him, Christian within me.
It stirs my sin; the river,
Oh, she swells with our lousiness.
All my life will end for him?
We're all out of signs,
I know I'm sorta shocked
To hear The Lord,
My God now will save me!
Oh I will n'er be saved,
Because I live with Satan..
One wish today;
That you'll all pray for
Three who will make it here late.
Pray now and you'll see..
The 'Lord' turned me on,
But, oh, I was the shaggy fool..
Clothed in agony,
Lost at a height.
There's no escaping it,
Nor his woes..
So here's to my Sweet Satan.
The one who's little path
Would make me sad,
Whose power is satan.
He'll give you 666.
there was a little toolshed,
where he made
us suffer sad Satan.
Ohohohoh...
"Family won't get loose,
They're offered me"
Always soothes the worker.
Always will be as we know now
"I see ruins," said he,
"the world they offered me?
Who wished the Lord's fall"
If we lose feather,
Say you'll save me!

And no wimps can bend the rules..
And no wimps can do..

Hunt next to the shore,
'Cause they see all from there,
See here's the news,
Who walks with mute grief!
Perhaps no-one found thee...
"Heavy, lift me out,"
Spake the Reve,
"Someday, failed, we'll lose one line-up,
They've gotta leave forsaken"

And no wimps can do..
And no wimps can do...

He, who say the lords
Thoth have our laws,
Maat must be superb. Mass is ended..
Over there,
He who should learn thee.
Any moot that serves by my sworn music,
I wish it with snow be shushed, All for my mass's sake.
Hear why its sung,
here, oppositioner, Ohh..
He who should show
May make his show worthy,
To look, for us, odd.. sickly,
There's one chance - take his show.
Hold thy head,
Hear why its sung here. oppositioner.
Who owns this earth built below?
Oh sweet Israel...

This is a lot of bull* Those words aren't even close to the lyrics, you can say it sounds like everything, If god is so awesome why did he "create" music anyway. I have respect for people of all religions, reliefs, cultural forms but I think we just need to let eachother have the fun we want and do whatever we like, There are always people disliking things or saying it is bad.

That is why we are all different , and it's best if we keep it that way. For the video, They really shouldn't take it so serious. There are worse things in life then listening to music and I think that most of them are not supposed to be related to the things they mention in the video, I think I can better not post my full statement related to religious people with these thoughts.

anyways

I really don't want to offend anybody and have a lot of respect for you all guys .

Considering music has no place and is entirely illogical with evolution or any other purpose - I would consider it a gift.

However to the above post - All I'm saying is Music is apparently a great place to hide secret messages.

Lots of songs are like that, religion or not.

I personally wouldn't agree to all those lyrics from 'Stairway to Heaven' reversed, but the:
"So here's to my Sweet Satan.
The one who's little path
Would make me sad,
Whose power is satan.
He'll give you 666."
Is pretty clearly done on purpose. The idea I believe was if you go down the stairway to heaven (reverse it) it will lead you to hell instead.

In one of the other songs 'Empty Space' it has:

"Hello, hunters. Congratulations. You have just discovered the secret message. Please send your answer to Old Pink, care of the Funny Farm, Chalfont--"

Putting backward messages into music (also known as "backmasking") was all the rage back in the 80s -- and by "all the rage" we mean "the subject of congressional inquiries." Bands such as Judas Priest and Led Zeppelin were accused of including subliminal satanic mind-control messages in their songs, in what was undoubtedly one of the stupidest moral panics in American history.

Some kid commited suicude from listening to Judas Priest, there was a huge law case over it. During the Judas Priest subliminal message trial, lead singer Rob Halford admitted to recording the words "In the dead of the night, love bites" backwards into the track "Love Bites", from the 1984 album Defenders of the Faith. Asked why he recorded the message, Halford stated that "When you're composing songs, you're always looking for new ideas, new sounds." There where believed to be others, however much worst, such as suicudal messaging.

Slayer included at the start of the band's 1985 album Hell Awaits a deep backmasked voice chanting "Join Us" over and over. Slayer vocalist Tom Araya confirmed it, but states that the band's use of Satanic imagery was "solely for effect".

Hit me baby one more time (Britney Spears) reversed comes out as - 'sleep with me i'm not too young'.

Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd) - has a perfected 'Wizard of Oz' movie synchronization. This is seriously amazing, when the lion roars three times in the old movie, play the album to match it up.

Cradle of Filth, another band that has employed Satanic imagery, released a song entitled "Dinner at Deviant's Palace", consisting almost entirely of unusual sounds and a reversed reading of the Lord's Prayer (which is Black Mass).

Marilyn Manson used this way to hide subliminal messages. For example, in the beginning of his song "Tourniquet" when played backwards, his voice is heard saying "This is my lowest point of vulnerability" as explained in his book - Long Hard Road Out of Hell.

A lot of them just happen to be for or against religion:

Don't you think these lyrics aren't a bit of coincidence, and the point of people commiting suicide by it is often just a matter of finding reasons.

Most are just a bit of coincidence, yes, however others are done on purpose and are very clear and have been confirmed by the band themselves. As for it being mind control or making someone actually suicide, etc, I believe that's a bit extreme and far fetch. As for most being about spirital warfare (for/against religion and/or life), I honestly believe it's highly likely based on the band's believes or shock tactics, etc.

Anyways I enjoy hunting for easter eggs - hidden messages/objects in movies, tv shows, games and music. There's a lot out there, if you care to look a bit deeper.

now I am sure if you try hard enough you could find the same stuff in christian or even praise music

on the other hand, if they say we will worship satan , and there is a satan- it walks like a duck, if there is not a satan then it is just silly humans trying to sound cool

If you read those lyrics before listening to it, you will hear them in the song, that's just how your brain works, that does not mean they are actualy in the song

The phrase in question that was brought up in this case was "Do it", a phrase so simple that anybody could make it while singing perfectly normal lyrics. Secondly, if by some crazy hypothetical case the band had put the phrase in there on purpose, it never specifies what the band wants the person to do. The kid shot himself in the head, if the kid was crazy enough to do that, I doubt some extremely vague unknown message would have convinced the kid to kill himself.

I think people just like to go after rock and (especially) metal and say it's evil because it confronts things many people either don't understand, or would rather ignore. The reason I enjoy metal is because it speaks to me to let me know that others have had the same problems before me and that I'm not alone. That is something I don't usually find in other genres of music and when I do, the song is often moody or too upbeat. Upbeat music has its place, but when I'm really angry about something and just want to scream and rage, metal allows me to do that.

Finally, saying listening to metal will turn you into an occultist is just as silly as saying listening to rap will make you shoot people, listening to country will make you a redneck, or listening to jazz will make you a snob. It's a stereotype. A few cases shouldn't ruin an entire culture of people. Most metalheads are extremely laidback, carefree, good people. I fell down during a Testament/Anthrax show in the mosh pit at least three times, but my fellow metalheads helped me up while simutaneously pushing me so I wouldn't get trampled each time. Later, Scott Ian of Anthrax threw a pick into the audience and it landed between me and another guy. The pick was closer to me, and so he graciously allowed me to take it. I would be a far different person without metal, likely for the worst.
