> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi my friend. Good attempt but Iknow you can do even better so try to nail down the timing even more if you can. I also think it might help if you make some of your strumming actions a bit larger, get more physical movement happening. I often find that to 'feel' a groove, you've got to let your whole hand swing with it.

For those descending bits at 0:10, try to separate your fingers so each note is clear and standing alone. At the moment they bleed into each other because your holfing your fingers on the strings together.

Keep going, you're getting there !

Howdy mate - indeed a little more practice on this one at a slow tempo, will allow you to play it tighter and with better timing. I don't have anything else to add aside what Ben already stated, so I will just say: practice, practice, practice biggrin.gif

Good attempt mate! As my friends said, you are doing a good job with this lesson and you have to continue practising concentrated on timing and groove. Try to check the original take from time to time since Alex's groove is very inspiring. Keep on rocking! smile.gif

Nice one, but still you have to work on groove a bit more ! I would recommend to practice with a slightly less gain or even with a clean sound in order to better focusing on the rhythm and timing !
