Hi Oscar! I always tell you that you are a very good guitarist and that your music is very nice. This songs that you've posted isn't the exception! If you want to make your live concerts more attractive, you could experiment with re-versions of famous songs, adding some guests playing percussion, violin or any other instrument and you could even use some tracks to create atmospheres.
Just some ideas that come to mind now and that could make long shows more entertained. -------------------- My lessons

Thanks Gabriel for your response! yeah! i like the idea of create atmospheres ! thanks! i will try to do it $$$$ lol Your music is mesmerizing Tell me Oscar, have you tried to build up a presskit and approach organizations such as CandyRat Records in order to see if you can collaborate with them to promote yourself? It's time to think bigger and try everything at hand Hi friend! yeah! is was tried... but this was the response: Rob Poland Hi Oscar, Sounds good. We are not signing many new artists right now. Remember wherever you live, if you have access to put music and videos on the internet, you can build a worldwide audience. -Rob but i´m a guitar warrior lol... i´m going to try again and again ..... and again! hug mr Cosmin! In my opinion You should take care about some smoke and lights. In this kind of playing (love it - emotional and lot's of dynamics) You need to take care about the visual atmosphere...to help audience fill in to the music. Your playing is not a type of "I can fly on the stage" because You already do a lot with Your figers. Consider creating a good mood on stage. It doesn't have to be expensive and time taking. but a 2 or 3 (white, red and blue) lights + a bit of smoke could really do the job for Your music Darius! thanks for your opinion.... is true.... i like so much these ideas.... i will try to make future shows with your point of view! unfortunatly when you have a performance in my country Colombia.... people who organize the festival are very hurry... and don´t think of the point of view about the artist.... he only thinks in this symbol $$$$$ but... great ideas Darius... can you give me your e-mail. Y want to send you my first album if you want! thanks bro! I thought your performance was outstanding. I really enjoy your style of guitar playing and could listen to it for hours. For where you were at, I think you did about all you can do. Other than that, ambiance can really help set the tone and feeling of your performance. Go with low light, candles, maybe a lava lamp or something. MTV Unplugged sessions - in particular the Alice in Chains version. But for this style of playing - just very simple lighting in a dim atmosphere. Here's a Michael Hedges show - he's one of (was) one of my faves years ago... But really, that style works anywhere, from a dock on the ocean, to a coffee shop, to a street corner. Very well done. Ufffffff! man! thanks a lot for your opinion! yeah! you had the reason... i will try to do these kind of ideas! tell me... about the places! .... i also will try to play in this options! thanks! if you want to listen my first album and support me... this is the link! http://oscarmendez.bandcamp.com/ This post has been edited by Osedmen: Apr 22 2014, 01:46 AM -------------------- .:: Colombian fingerstyle guitar player ::.

I would really enjoy it [email protected]
I was in a similar position with one of my bands. There was usually limited $$$ amount and we had to make everything to make the gig look descent. We borrowed some lights and smoke machine on our own. That's a cost but people/audience judge the gig as a whole thing including the visual side of it. You do create a great mood with Your playing. Making the visual side will bring extra attention and climat to the performance |
