I bought Steve Vai's new CD (sound Theories Volumes 1 & 2) on his website, even though I had to pay $7.95 shipping (!) but it turned out to be worth it because I am one of the lucky one-in-four (2,500 in 10,000) who got a satin pass to get into the Steve Vai meet-and-greet and all sorts of other goodies I suspect!

I am so excited and its totally worth going to a concert on a school night to MEET STEVE VAI! I havn't even listened to the album yet (I most definitely will soon) but it would probably still be worth it without the CD.

Ahh dont be. More than likely. You will talk about guitar. Then just say something like this "Yeah, i take lessons from this site called Guitarmasterclass.net. Its an amazing site, and ive learned tons from. We have tons of amazing instructors. You should check it out sometime. And maybeeeeee (with a lil grin, or how my g/f calls it. A cocky smile biggrin.gif) you could do a lesson of your own. Its great stuff"

Hey man, that's so cool. I also got one of the satin passes from the special edition of his new CD. I'm excited out of my mind that I'll be able to meet "his royal vai-ness" biggrin.gif
And as you said, it's worth the high price of S&H if you get a pass. It's sure to be a great time.
I'll try and get some pics and if I do, I'll definitely post them on GMC. And of course, if I even get a chance to talk to him, I'll try to mention GMC. Ahhh, September 23rd seems so far away...

P.S. Which show are you going to Avenite?
