I'll second the "No more tears" solo (zakk fan ofc), i am also a big fan of the children of bodom "guitar vs. keyboard solo" battles and the great metallica solos like "fade to black" or "one"

Too many of them to count and i can't even decide which one is the best!

Let's say: Rhapsody - Unholy Warcry and Outworld - City OF The Dead

but there are hundreds more to state here biggrin.gif

Maybe a bit different - Carlos Rios on 'Brother to Brother'. Favourite player and rather different - Allan Holdsworth.

Cheers,
Tony

Here's just a few that come to mind...

Marty Friedman's solo on "Angel" from his Scenes album.

Mattias IA Eklundh's vibrator solo on "Apparatus" from the first Freak Guitar album.

Brett Garsed's slide solo on "Got the Horn" from his debut solo album, Big Sky.

... but my all-time favorite is probably THIS!
