Have you tried the 101 lessons yet? There are some really great lessons that will give you a good techinique basis to work from...
Like this speedpicking lesson for example! http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/speed-al...ing-lesson2.htm Hope that lesson is a good enough suggestion.. and one more thing.. Welcome to GMC Destrucion! |

No, its cool. I said before I already took the Alternate Picking 1. So... Should I go now to 3, 4 etc... ? Or any other lesson you recommand ? Destruction. Its important your happy and comfortable with a lesson before moving on to a tougher one, but also a bit of variety is important to keep us interested You could go a little further with alternate picking or you could try another technique- why not try a 101 Tapping lesson (Tapping is a really fun and eye pleasing technique that is often found in metal) http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/search_r...rch=101+tapping More than happy to help if you need any more suggestions |

Jazz and Metal.. interesting something like Jetal or Mezz Just kidding, welcome aboard. What you need to learn also are the basics of music theory. You can find everything in Andrew Cockburn theory board. Just know the basics and you will progress much faster. Also learn the minor pentatonic scale first, practise it in all positions and learn to do some position shifting. Practise everything very slowly at first and then advance to higher speeds. Learn the riffing in the same amount that you learn soloing. Hope this helps. Cheers
