So I came here to hear ya ppl suggestions (By the way, today is my birthday!) Im into Metal/Funk/Jazz/and Rock (I just don't realy like Blues, and Classical stuff) And I started playing the guitar like 5 months ago (+-, I dont remember Im not so good.. Kinda Beginner/Intermidiate.. Thanks for your opinions! (to come..) |

Happy birthday m8!
Try something like "Heavy Metal For Beginners" (just type the whole thing in the SEARCH box in the main page) - that should get you going -------------------- "It isn't how many years you have been playing, it's how many hours." -- Prashant Aswani "PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!" -- Michael Angelo Batio Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |

How about some alternate picking lessons? Kris has some good AP lessons for beginners and after those you can easily try doing some more difficult AP lessons

Actually, I did your "Heavy Metal For Beginners" 1, 2, and 3.. That realy helped me.. But I still cant get going anywhere =\ And thanks! When I get in the spot you are in I go do things that must make you improve. Metronome work. Boring or not, I can do these for hours since I now have reached the point where I can see it working everyday to bring improvement. I simply never get to unmotivated to play, if I see it working. So for me, getting out of these ruts is done by getting .001 percent better right there in that very practice session. -------------------- - leedbreak

Hey! Try the lesson planners. They make you choose your level and what style you want to learn (e.g. metal) They're at the home page and at the bottom of the video lessons page.
Is there any computer metronome ? Because 'till Ill buy one it will be in atleast 1 week =\ Thank you for your help Not a stupid question at all! The metronome is a guitarist's best friend http://www.metronomeonline.com/ http://www.download.com/Weird-Metronome/30....html?tag=lst-1 This post has been edited by Tomy Jeon: Dec 26 2007, 08:00 PM -------------------- ![]() Obi-Wan Kenobi dislikes babies! |
