I have been learning from this site for arround 2 months.. But on the past month I had no
time playing, I had to learn to a few tests and stuff.. After like 3 weeks I havent got near the comp,
I try now to learn something, but I dont know where to start from, what to learn..

So I came here to hear ya ppl suggestions tongue.gif

(By the way, today is my birthday!)

Im into Metal/Funk/Jazz/and Rock (I just don't realy like Blues, and Classical stuff)

And I started playing the guitar like 5 months ago (+-, I dont remember tongue.gif)

Im not so good.. Kinda Beginner/Intermidiate..

Thanks for your opinions! (to come..)

Happy birthday m8!

Try something like "Heavy Metal For Beginners" (just type the whole thing in the SEARCH box in the main page) - that should get you going smile.gif

How about some alternate picking lessons? Kris has some good AP lessons for beginners and after those you can easily try doing some more difficult AP lessons smile.gif Just search for Alternate Picking - you sure will find something to your taste smile.gif

When I get in the spot you are in I go do things that must make you improve. Metronome work. Boring or not, I can do these for hours since I now have reached the point where I can see it working everyday to bring improvement. I simply never get to unmotivated to play, if I see it working. So for me, getting out of these ruts is done by getting .001 percent better right there in that very practice session.

Hey! Try the lesson planners. They make you choose your level and what style you want to learn (e.g. metal) They're at the home page and at the bottom of the video lessons page.

Happy Birthday m8. smile.gif

Start by learning the minor pentatonic scale. That always helps wink.gif Then practice some chords and learn a new song, maybe House of the Rising Sun (Animals) for starters.

Thanks Ivan!

And I think it'll be a good idea doing in the "Video Lessons" a place
which there will be song lessons and stuff like that biggrin.gif.
