Saw The Summer Slaughter Tour Last Night In...

There were some really good bands there last night. Unfortunately Muhammed Suicmez and Necrophagist had to cancel because of problems getting into the country.

Anyway, the list of bands was:

Killwhitneydead
Daath
Ion Dissonance
As Blood Runs Black
Beneath the Massacre
The Faceless
Arsis
Cattle Decapitation
Cephalic Carnage
Decapitated

Vogg from Decapitated is one bad dude. Very tight for playing so fast.

There were quality guitarists in just about every band. I didn't care for Cephalic Carnage or Killwhitneydead, so I won't comment on them. Arsis was a pleasant surprise, too.

What Does Everyone Think Of The "fretboard Logic" Series?

I've only got through the 1st part and just a bit of the 2nd(of 3).

Considering all of the theory work on this forum, I would think many have see or of it.

So far it is really informative. If you take the basic stuff from the FL you can see how everything(chords, scales, etc) else flows very nicely from it.

Is The "lick Of The Day" Downloadable Or Accessible Anywhere Else...

after the next one is uploaded, or once the day is over, it is gone?

Hello, Masterclass!

I haven't had a chance to really get into the site that much, but it looks GREAT. For $48/6months, you can't beat it. That is only 1 or 2 half-hour lessons from a "live" teacher.

I've been fooling around with a guitar for about 10-12 years. The only problem is, I've not progressed at all as a guitarist. I'm not looking to become a professional, but I would just like to be good. Instead of having to pick up a tab book, I'd like to at least be able to jam with other guitar players. I know nothing about keys, scales, modes, etc and am looking forward to unlearning some very bad habits I've picked up over the years.

I currently have 2 guitars:
1. Jackson MG Series DXMG Dinky
2. BC Rich Kerry King Signature V
