I have an African Grey parrot by the name of Echo who is trying to say his first words at the moment, he's really close to being able to say "What?" "Hello" "Echo" "What you doing buddy?" and "Yeah". He can also mimic laughing. Here are the onlpictures I have of him really (don't own a camera) I took the day I brought him home from the pet store. His upper mandible is horn colored and not black. His tail is a muted scarlet color.
So lets see pictures of your pets.

I have seen a bunch of folks saying they're going, so far I know going are :
Me Shellshock Walliman UberIbanez and Enucleation I believe said they were going but that could have been the prog nation tour. So if you're going to that in Atlanta at the end of may put that down. Anybody up for a GMC tailgate or perhaps meet up for a beer or so nearby beforehand (I know shellshock isn't quite old enough). Add your name to the list if you are going and if you would be interested in meeting up with a beer beforehand!

I sign up for contests every month, sometimes every week at my favorite guitar websites. I've probably done it 50 times now. Never won. I don't know if I ever win, but the hope is nice.
Anyone else a contest junky?

I just got a random friend request on myspace from a band called "Dark Empire". They're clearly in the same vein as Blind Guardian (their lead singer sounds like a carbon copy of Hansi). They've got like 8 or 9 songs on their page, I'm through about the 6 or 7th and so far I've really enjoyed them all, especially Haunted Prelude. The reason I say they have SymphX elements is because they use a synth a lot but really they're a Somewhere Far Beyond/Imaginations from the Other Side clone of Blind Guardian, which is a great thing
Check them out. Their CD Humanity Dethroned will hit stores in US/EU on May 5th. I'm going to pick it up. Dark Empire's Myspace Page. |
