Scales And Solos

Hi Kris.
I have a question.... i already seen the "Beginner Scales lesson", and my question is: when jaming around with the scales with the backing track, how i know which note to play? i mean... ie: lets say the backing track is E G A D, when the backing track is on G, which notes i have to play, and when is on A, and D and E...

You play the notes of the scale randomly no matter which chord is on the backing track, or play a especific notes for each chord?

Hi everyone, i have 2 days in GMC and i already love it!!!.

I spent 2 years in a music school, and i just learned the basics (major and minor chords, and tons of theory), my technique is not the best, this happens because the school change my teacher every month, , so i left the school, and put down my guitar for very long time.(about 4 years) But now, i find this GREAT site, and i decide to join and i´m very happy now, i must say that the tons of theory i´ve learned is still useful . my guitars are seeing the day light once again.
