Joss Whedon has put his latest web movie project online. It's available for a limited time for free via streaming
at Dr Horrible's sing-along blog I thought that since it's a musical, people here might be interested.

They posted a list of winners of the 2008 swedish metal awards that aired on saturday. Here's the list:
* Hard-rock Category: Hardcore Superstar - Dreamin' In A Casket * Death Metal Category: Arch Enemy - Rise Of The Tyrant * Heavy/Power Metal Category: Sabaton - Metalizer * Glam/Sleazy Category: Crashdiet - Unattractive Revolution * Punk/Hardcore Category: Dia Psalma - Djupa Skogen * Metal Category: Pain - Psalms Of Extinction * Alternative Metal Category: Dark Tranquillity - Fiction * Best Newcommers Category: Sonic Syndicate * Best Live Act Category: Nightwish - Dark Passion Play * Best Foreign Hard-rock Category: Europe * Best Foreign Metal Category: Machine Head - The Blackening * Best Foreign Live Act Category: W.A.S.P. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the winners. Good job guys! But I do have a question. Since when is Dark Tranquillity alternative metal?

I thought people here would be interested in this. Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen who brought us Metal: A headbanger's journey are working on the sequel documentary: Global Metal.
This time they are supposed to go to every continent and see exactly what is different/similar with the metal scene there.

Just thought Thrash fans would be interested in this. They're form the UK and they remind me a little of early Testament.

So here's the deal, I have several PCs at home and I use an external USB hard drive for my back ups.
It gets pretty annoying to unplug and plug the drive on the specific computer that I want to back up files. I was wondering if there was an affordable network solution for back ups. I have PCs running on XP pro and a PC running on Linux. thanks in advance |
