Hello everybody!

Well, I have been playing for a while now, and there is something bothering me. I have tried to develop
as a lead guitarist; playing and listening to different music styles, improving my technique, and trying to extend my knowledge.

Generally, I would describe myself as a very practical guy, but not when it comes to guitar playing. I am having a writer's block.
I know some theory, some modes, but when it comes to improvising, I always get back to the first position of the Pentatonic scale, and
the Ionian mode.

I am sure that every guitarist goes through this block at some point, but I would like to here about your experience, and would
also like to have help from you guys! How do you turn something that your brain knows, to something that your fingers play?

Thank you and have a great week! smile.gif

I am playing the guitar for about a year+-, and I recently got into song writing cool.gif

I have no problem with writing the music part.. I know it's not as difficult as writing lyrics.

I really want to start writing lyrics and start to put it all together, but the problem is I don't know where to start! sad.gif

Instrumental songs are good but I'll be happy if someone help me with writing lyrics.

Is there any tutorial for this in GMC ? How do you write your lyrics ?

I really don't know where to start and how to start.. please help me tongue.gif

Thanks in adv!

I've been playing for a few months now (arround 10, or even a year), and I feel I am not getting better as fast as I could.

I don't have an arranged practicing routine, and I have plenty of time to practice every day (well, almost everyday).

So I will be more than happy if someone can dedicate a few minutes and help me a little bit with building myself practicing routine.

I just think I can get more of myself.

So anyone that wants to help a beginner guitarist at need, or anyone that just wants to talk,

you can contact me at my MSN - Amitaik at gmail dot com

Thanks in advance!! biggrin.gif

So.. I've been here for 3 months 6 months ago, but I've made a mistake and joined when I had
pressure at school. So I didn't realy had the time to practice and play.

But now summer brake is coming, and I have plenty of time.
So I would like some lessons recommands or stuff like that for soloing (which I realy suck at).
I can't think of what to do, so I get stuck at the same phrases all the solo.
So I would like some tips and lessons for that =)

Oh yeah, and also if you can give me some tips for alternate picking (How to practice so it would be effective, and
what lessons to watch).

I'm sorry for the english, its not my first language .

Thank you! tongue.gif
