So members of the Ultimate GMC virtual band, lets see if we can make up our minds about the type of music we will be creating. The influences seem to vary, but at least it is all rock right.
I like almost all types of rock, but we want to feel comfortable with what we are doing. I would like to be original in what we do, and see what kind of sound we create together, we will not always agree but that is part of being in a band. I'd like to hear references to bands you guys like and what sound you would want to go after, hopefully we create a blend of all our influences and come up with something cool and unique later

Hello Guys and Girls
I started this thread for uploads, feel free to tell us about yourself, influences, equipment. This is what I'd like to hear in the files you upload: Upload no more than 2 minutes worth of music, I'd like to get a grasp of guitar tone, clean, distorted, play the styles you do best, and show us as much as you can in those 2 minutes, concentrate on your strengths, if your strength is metal rhythm go ahead and upload killer riffs, if your strength is bluesy solos, upload nice bluesy leads. The same goes for bass, keys, vocals, upload your best stuff. You don't necessarily have to use up all the 2 minutes, if you can show what you do in 30 seconds it is fine, but I just wanted to set a maximum length. I would like to hear original compositions for the most part. This is an important part of the Virtual band since we will be creating original material. I am not defining the main genre of the band, I'd like to hear what we have first.

Hello GMCers
My brother (Leader and Frontman of MenO), told me about this program, he entered one of MenO's songs it got accepted and it is available for free download, I believe it is for a limited time. Don't know much about the program, I have just been told you can download tons of indie music for free. Here is the link to our song, some GMCers heard the live version of this song that I posted on you tube and liked it. enjoy http://www.myspace.com/windows?homepage=meno

The name of the song is spinning, it seems to be our most popular tune

Awesome, I had a feeling it was a Carvin. Just one more thing, about how much did it cost? I've been considering buying a Carvin in the future, so I wanna know a rough estimate of how much I need to save up. Thanks in advance, bro. 23 Jan 2009 - 3:06

Hey Jose, I was just wondering, that Greenburst guitar that you in your Dean Shred Search video is a Carvin, right? 9 Jan 2009 - 2:32

Hay Jose! Dig the new lesson man:) Like your style alot! Dunno about a US tour. S.A is so far from everything, to tour anywhere else besides for here becomes quite a financial exercise! But we'll see, would be rad!! 2 Sep 2008 - 12:29 Friends
