Not sure if its because of guitar or something else but my little finger on my left (fretting) hand has gone completely numb. This make playing guitar impossible as I had worked hard to strengthen that finger.
Has this happened to anyone else and if so what did you do about it?

Have noticed that the frets on my Brian Moore are flat on top. Not across the whole fretboard but mainly the three high strings between about 5th and 14th frets. Exactly where most of my bending takes place I guess.
I have played the guitar for 2/3 hours every day for the last year or so. I use Ernie ball 9's so heavy strings are not the issue.
Is this degree of wear normal? Am I fretting too hard maybe?
Does anyone know how easy a fret redress is?

Have any of you guys heard of Chapman guitars?
They are collaboratively designed online via the YouTube Chanel of Rob Chapman.
The current project is the ML2 a solid mahogany LP type single cutaway with maple neck and ebony fretboard. The idea is that the bulk of the cost is put into the main wood and then customers can customise with their own preferred pickups etc. Though it does come with standard non branded pickups. Once the design is agreed upon a prototype is made and then it is shipped off to China where it is copied for a limited edition run of 250 guitars.
It looks a great deal at only £350 and I have ordered one which hopefully will be with me by Christmas time!
They can be ordered and secured via Andertons who ask for only a £35 deposit to secure your guitar untill they are built.
Well worth a look I feel.
I should have added that they have also done a Strat like model also. The ML1 which looks cool too.

I went to see Dick Dale last nghtand was totally blown a way!
At the age of 73 Dick puts most of the young guitarists to shame. He played non stop for 90 minutes and wow can he play!!
I was no more than 2metres away from him and his technique is truely unique and original. He is left handed and plays with the strings upside down!
If you get the chance make sure you go and see him you wont regret it.
Tonight I am off to see something completely different a flamenco guitarist called Manolo Sanlucar.
