Hey guys

I've been learning to sight read for about 9 months using a popular book called berklee guitar method. 45 minutes of this each day is quite tiring and boring. hard to keep enthusiastic. does anyone have any suggestions about sight reading on guitar? is it useful? are there some ways to make it more fun?
