Style of Ted Nugent or Buck Dharma (Blue Oyster Cult) would be really cool, they are really cool guitarists.

Hey Ivan,

I would like a beginners lesson / intro to jazz or something like the ideas on jazz / blues or jazz / funk fusion. Its something I'd like to develop into my playing.
OrganisedConfusion
Jazz Beginner lesson and a John McLaughlin style lesson would be awesome. Mahavishnu Orchestra are incredible. Or a Frank Zappa style lesson would be great. smile.gif

And some Jazz Funk as your great at both styles smile.gif
Ivan Milenkovic
I'll do the jazz lesson pretty soon, guys, by the end of the month, or starting in february.

Hello Ivan,
Love your blues lessons. How about a country blues "swamp" style lesson in the style of Tony Joe White/John Fogerty ...... in Drop D tuning perhaps. I haven't seen a swamp style lesson on the GMC site as yet.

Cheers.
Ivan Milenkovic
Well, I could definitely try some form of country next month. Can you give me some youtube links as an example what you wanna see in the lesson and I will try to do that?
Col Roberts
Hello Ivan,
The "swamp" blues style that I was requesting can be found in the following clips:

Tony Joe White - Who Ya Gonna Hoo-Doo Now
Tony Joe White - Rebellion

Hey Ivan,

Any chance of another Beginner Blues soloing lesson like the first one? That is by FAR my favorite lesson and I am still practicing it! I have gotten all the parts down individually, and am now working on tying them all together in one smooth transition. I would LOVE another beginner aimed lesson like this one!
Ivan Milenkovic
Well, since many people want a lesson like that, I'll do it - why not. Blues is very popular I see. biggrin.gif
Martin la guitarra

Hi There Ivan,

How about a In the style lesson of John Mayer.

vintageplaya666
Hey Ivan, hows things?

You're band is great by the way smile.gif

I've been having a hard time thinking who this lesson request I have would be suitable for, but I thought it would be best for you as you are into blues/rock.

I was wondering, if you could do a In The Style of George Thorogood lesson in the future? As I think he is an amazing guitarist, and I think (and hope) you like him!
Ivan Milenkovic
It's doing OK man, thanks for asking. I'm glad you like out band man, thanks smile.gif

I'm writing down your request, but I already have entire August booked, so if it's not a problem to wait until September mate. Cheers smile.gif

Jimmy Page, John Mayer, or Buddy Guy. I'd especially like some Jimmy Page, even though that would be hard to live up to. Your Albert King lesson was awesome, and your Hendrix and Clapton lessons! Page was a great blues guitarists, but I also like him for his hard rock stuff, too. Buddy Guy is a legend, and Mayer has some really unique stuff. But I'm crossing my fingers for a Page lesson! biggrin.gif
Ivan Milenkovic
OK man, I'll keep it in mind for August or September, depending how the schedule works out. Thanks for the suggestion smile.gif

Hey Ivan,

I'd really like to play like СЛОТ (Slot)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDJNTd18ANA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO4s4GQqt_U

Would it be possible for one like that?

Pierre
Ivan Milenkovic
That's an interesting band mate, I'll try to do something similar. Thanks for the idea! smile.gif
