'Sup GMC? I would like some help with making a good practice routine. I want something that I can do for up to an hour every day to improve my playing and I don't really know what to do. I have tried some of the lessons with fast tapping and speed picking and I find that both my right and left hands get confused quite quickly and I cannot get up to speed. Is there an activity I could try to improve this? I'm open to any recommendations.
Cheers,
Nathan

If you cannot get it and your hands are getting confused,.....then slow down.
It cannot be emphasized enough on how slow you need to go. Trust me, 5 mins of slow focused practice pays off dividens more than an 1 hour of rushed, mistake-ridden practice biggrin.gif

Just slow down, and repeat....over and over and over.....then break....and try it again, and I guarantee you it will be better smile.gif

"Try using a metronome at a comfortable speed that you can play the lick, when you can do it mistake free 3 times in a row increase the metronome speed by 5 bpm and repeat. It will help you tremendously.
Good luck

Good to hear it, mate. Actually, don't be surprised if you can play what you already know twice as fast biggrin.gif
Keep it up!
