Hi, Kris! I know you have Parker Nitefly, but could you say something about the Fly model and what is the difference between them? Have you tried it? Also I want to ask David Wallimann the same question, as he also owns a Parker). I want to know if I could get warmer fat tone from Fly (neck-thru mahogany), Les Paul type, because your and David's tones in the lessons seems too cold and thin to me, kind of unnatural. Sorry for that

Today I went to the music store and tried Fly Mojo. Definately, it's playability is amazing, not comparable to anything else (I've tried also Ibanez RGT220A and RGT320Q Prestige models and Jackson SL3 Soloist, Jackson surpisingly sounded better to me than almost twice more expensive RGT320Q, with more attack). Unfortunately, I did't try the whammy bar and experiment with the sound much.
I want to ask you about the tremolo: what is it like, could you do some heavy divebombs on it, like on Floyd Rose? The fact that it's not double-locking somehow dissapoints me.. Also I wonder if its possible to make a really ultra-heavy fat metal tone for the riffs, like on ESP's or even Les Paul, for example? Although, I know that Nitefly and Fly are not the same, but I believe their tremolo bars are identical and some tone possibilities, too.

The fly is an increadible instrument and light as a feather - unfortunately it's lack of body reflects in it's wound: it very hard to get heaviness from it.
The nitefly is better soundwise - although not perfect either. I love this guitar though because if it's fantastic playablity. The stainless steel frets with the graphite fretboard makes bending and vibrato so easy.
The nitefly has a standard tremolo (similar to floy rose) and works fine. The fly has a completely unique tremolo system which takes no space at all - thereby making the thin body possible. From what I have heard this tremolo works very good, and allows for a different feel the the floyd rose style tremolos.
