Hey folks,

I have been wondering for a while about jumbo frets when i go trough a guitar catalogue and i start drooling over that gorgeous Ibanez RG 320 P2 i start wondering what the difference between medium and jumbo frets is? I want to buy one of those in a few months but i would like to know what the difference is first.

I would be gratefull is someone could explain it to me

The frets are basically bigger- the stick upwards from the neck more.

You'll find that because the frets are raising the string away from the wood of the neck (when you are fretting) that you wont have to drag the string across the wood when you do bending and vibrato. It is a similar result to scalloping a neck (but a far less extreme method).
