Muris,
You seem to be a master of virtually all styles and every technique. When you were learning which technique gave you the most troube? For me it seems to be alternate picking. Legato and tapping seem to be much easier for me. Also do you do any sort of "maintenance" on your technique as far as a daily excercise regimen or are you to the point with your technique that you just write and play now? Hope I get there some day. Thanks again for all the great lessons, you have given me some much needed motivation and excitement for progessing on guitar!!

That was very kind Monte, thanks. smile.gif

This is how I see things,
each technique is equally easy/hard if you want to get it right nice and properly.
Some technique might be easier for you of course
but that's probably cause you used to play it more than something else,
which would be legato instead of A. picking in your case.
I really don't do any prepared maintenance for any technique,
I just practice as much as I can and try to fix errors and bugs in my playing, sort of speech.

So if you have problems with picking then do more picking exercises, simple as that.
Do not look at it as your disadvantage or som,
you've just played more legato licks by now, trust me. smile.gif
