I'm wondering what kind of strings you use on your strat. For some reason my strings seem difficult to change because I have a hard time getting the ball end of the strings out of the bridge/tremelo. I've got the same type of guitar with the tremelo system that you have. Do you ever have this problem?

It's more trouble on the high e string than any others. I am using D'Addario and they just seem to get stuck and I can't pull them out with out a lot of effort. I think its the little ring at the bottom of the strings that are getting stuck. Does this make sense?

Hey Jeff!

Yes this makes sense. I use standard shaped strings and my work-around for this problem is to cut the string with quite a margin and try using using the tremolo arm to get different angles...eventually even the high e-string pops out!
