Hi Muris,

You've probably been asked this before, so sorry if I ask you to repeat yourself. I really love this solo!! !! I'm wondering, though, if you could give me some pointers on the settings for my amplifier to get the correct sounds for this song, and also when you speak of the difference between high gain vs. overdrive. ( I have a VOX AD30VT amp). biggrin.gif

Hi there. smile.gif

Speaking of high gain and overdrive,
I was related to different parts of this lesson serial.
As you can see and hear, parts 1 and 3 has been done
with not that much gain/drive so you can consider it as a overdrive.
On the other hand part 2 is pretty much heavy drive(part 4 as well, coming up soon).
Now if you have healthy tube sound then you can play them all
using single sound with more drive/gain,
you'll be able to achieve this overdrive tone by simple
rolling guitar volume pot a bit down.
I used Korg Pandora PX4D which is fully digital unit
so I had to make 2 different presets with
different amount of gain/drive for each of them.
Now,I really don't have much experience with VOX AD30VT
cause I played it only once or twice,
and there is no right or wrong sound for these lessons
so all you have to do is to experiment a little with you amp AND guitar
and make a tone or two of them that would fit you nicely for these lessons.
I hope my explanation about high gain vs. overdrive was helpful. smile.gif
