Hi there.

Speaking of high gain and overdrive,
I was related to different parts of this lesson serial.
As you can see and hear,parts 1 and 3 has been done
with not that much gain/drive so you can consider it as a overdrive.
On the other hand part 2 is pretty much heavy drive(part 4 as well,coming up soon).
Now if you have healthy tube sound then you can play them all
using single sound with more drive/gain,
you'll be able to achieve this overdrive tone by simple
rolling guitar volume pot a bit down.
I used Korg Pandora PX4D which is fully digital unit
so I had to make 2 different presets with
different amount of gain/drive for each of them.
Now,I really don't have much experience with VOX AD30VT
cause I played it only once or twice,
and there is no right or wrong sound for these lessons
so all you have to do is to experiment a little with you amp AND guitar
and make a tone or two of them that would fit you nicely for these lessons.
