Am - Bb/A (that's Bb with A on bass...)
Gm - Bb
Dm - C
Bb - Am
All the chords are "extracted" from the mode you are working on. You are right, you should harmonize the mode you are working with with the root, 3rd, 5th and 7th (if you want) starting from each note of the mode.
That will give you the 7 chords you can use to create the backing track.
As you can see, I often keep the bass of the modal key you work with to emphasize the color of the mode.

Thanks a million David ! Great idea to keep the bass of the modal key for stressed colour. Will 4 note chords work the same ? Like in C : CMaj7 dmi7 emi7 FMaj7 etc.... ? I was born in Liverpool England but i came to France for a tour with a band as a singer and I stayed here. The bass player in the band was from Grenoble in the Alps and he invited me to come look see. Compared to Liverpool for countryside, food, etc. there was no comparison so I sent down roots. Then I became honest (LOL) and got a job as a University professor. I understand you went the other way from France to the USA. Thanks again. Phil.
