I don't know if it has been posted anywhere, but you came in 4th place. Unbelievably the winner was the ED to Shred guy, he plays good, but I guess he won because of his funny looks and they thought it was original. I liked your entry much more but I don't decide.

Congratulations my friend, I would have love to see you perform in tampa, you still got your name out there and had some more exposure. Wish you the best in the next contest.

Yes Muris, you were the better guitarist in this battle. However, I think you would have won if you'd have played standing up in a chicken's suit. Apperenty they weren't searching for the best guitarist (we can tell from you being in fourth place). But I wish you luck in your next contest (and do the chicken suit thing )

My good friend Mike Sweeney won the 2nd place and while I think he is an awesome guitarist (and he is!) I believe you are far more versatile and can play circles around him. I told him about you teaching here and he instantly knew who I was talking about, he was impressed by your entry. He will come check the site for sure.

And as some guys said maybe it would have been better to make a more ''original'' video concept to earn more points.

Anyways, I hope Guitar Idol 1st place will be yours. You deserve it to say the least.

but they still haven't replied so I never got the prize as well.

Yeah, still no sign of them.
It's not about prize whatsoever, it's some pedal, instructional videos etc,
but I don't get that kind of behavior at all.

It does work I remember back when some guy on youtube wasn't giving credit to muris for his compositions and was trying to pass them off as his own- that soon changed

Yeah you're already invading all these web contests so it's no point arguing about small gadgets for prizes. You told dean everything important by having been the fastest and most technical on a shredding (jesse is right about that) contest. It's guitar idol time now.
