Muris Varajic
Hi guys. smile.gif

I've been working a lot as a studio guitarist and session player
and so I wanted to share some of those materials with you,
all songs are in ex-yugoslavia languages so most
of you will probably have troubles to understand a word,
oh, and there is NO shred whatsoever.

I'm still digging through Youtube archive, stay tuned. biggrin.gif

P.S. I'm not in those clips but guitar you hear is me. wink.gif

Gigs as well. wink.gif

That's my dream job right there, session musician or playing guitar on one of those late night shows.

Some cool stuff there Muris... Curious about the one video where it looks like a band (third from the top). Did they just pretend to play your music, or did they write some too?

Thanks David. smile.gif

Well this is kind a small country and I know
pretty every owner of studios around,
they give me a call and I do recording.
But it was hard to get in, for sure. smile.gif
Tolek

ohmy.gif Wow, great compilation of songs! And as fatb0t said, it would be awesome to get into a kinda regular schedule of being a session musician. That's why I'm improving my sight reading abilities as well.

My country is also a small one and I might be called lucky to live in the capital since 99% of the music (both classical and "modern") are available here. All studios, all producer's residence and all major bands (as well us clubs and stadiums for shows). But again, because it's so small: it's also pretty exclusive for new bands and new musicians to get even a half-time job so the future for everyone to get into business is pretty vague and needs 1. luck 2. professionalism 3. contacts/friends/mentors/sponsors 4. lot of spare time to take a siege at their doors.

Anyway, great vids Muris, I liked them! smile.gif
Kuba Szafran
Well, those videos shows that you're truly versatile musician Muris! And I really liked the fourth video - are those pictures from Bosnia? Amazing landscapes, hope I will see them personally one day smile.gif. Cheers!

biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
Berglmir
Very interesting stuff - thx for this post.
If someone needed another reminder on how versatile your skills are...well, I donīt think another one is needed! laugh.gif

I kind of liked the music in general displayed here but hated the 3rd one (Divan) - the "cool" guy with the pick in his mouth....Arghhhhh huh.gif
I hope they are not personal friends of yours Muris?! blink.gif

@ berko: Hungary is a small country???? wacko.gif
Bosnia and Herzegowina have 4,5 Mio people; Austria has 8,3 Mio and Hungary has over 10 Mio. on the biggest area of land - maybe it all comes down to Budapest (great city by the way) but it is NOT a small country! wink.gif

You are great Muris! always perfect!
enforcer
Great guitars buddy, but I am sure you dont need that statement for sure laugh.gif

But there is one think that I cant understand, you played guitars for the third video but in video there are two other guitarists. Is this a band? You replaced a guitarist in record sessions or this is a solo artist and that guys in the back are actors? laugh.gif

They are band but I recorded guitar parts.
Believe me, many ultra famous bands have been using session players
for recordings, it's not a mystery at all. smile.gif
Ivan Milenkovic
Bravo Murise, that's impressive mate! smile.gif
Pedja Simovic
