Hi Lian, how is going on ? hope everything good. Well i see in your forum that the most of metal lesson are in your hands, its a hard work, but metal is a genre very demanded here. ok, go back to the main theme.
I have a trouble with pinch armonic. I saw a lot of in stile of lessons, like zakk wilde... or something like that. Its really hard to get this sound. I can the artificial armonics in grave strings, hard too but possible, but the sound isnt like that.
If you have a trick or a method that you can tell me , you will do me a great favour.

Cuidate mucho wink.gif

well, man! yeah... pinch harmonics, it´s a difficult thing you know.
I could make a lesson exclusively based on that, with some close-ups over that technique. what do u think about that?

Apologies Lian - particularly as this is your sub-forum- and Naule since I appreciate that your posts are mainly intended for Lian.

If you can please post in English as it would help others to understand the conversation and may also maximise the number of responses received. English is the preferred language on the forum and although some of us, including myself, can speak and understand Spanish many members can not. Also, some members may also have a similar issue with fingering in order to get an artificial and pinch harmonics so may benefit directly. Cheers.

Best,
Tony

you´r right man, sorry! and no need to apologies wink.gif
I´ll try to explain as I can tongue.gif

Basically a pinch harmonic is produced when the pick hits the string then the thumb touches the string after.
so, the better way to develop this technique is hit the string over and over again with the pick followed your thumb´s movement until to find the expected pich harmonic.

as I said, I´m working on a full lesson based in this technique that I hope it will be more useful than my weird explanations tongue.gif
