Hi Muris,
I am working on a couple of your lessons and I wondered if you can give me a tip on how to achive a sustained note. Its difficult to explain but I've noticed when you hammer on scale bursts accross the strings you seem to get a good strong note just like if you were picking it. Is this to do with settings like compression, low action or other. At the moment I am a bedroom player with a Line 6 micro spider and a Zoom G2 running into it. Unfortunately I have to play at low volume.
I would be gratefull of any advice on this.

Regarding tone, I don't use any compressor
but I have fine pickups ( with kind a high output) on my guitar
and action is also ok which means not too high.
So tips are:
- set proper action so you could do legato without too much problems
- set your tone so that you have enough input, gain and attack
- practice legato more to achieve more strength
Last tip is very important cause you cannot get good results
even with top gear and tone if your hands are not strong enough for legato.
