Hey muris i noticed that POD came out with a new line of pocket PODs and was wondering if you had heard of them. I wanted to get a pod for recording because i dont have any recording gear and dont have much to spend on it and was wondering what you thought of the pocket pod

Unfortunately,I don't have any of Line6 products so this pocket Pod is sort of new to me.
But If you like sound of my guitar in my lessons here at GMC,then grab Korg Pandora PX4D.
It's also a pocket size unit and really not expensive. smile.gif

Hmm not sure really...I bought it here in music store.
Try on Amazon,Guitar123 or similar sites.
Or just go to Korg.com and see where are nearest dealers to your place smile.gif

Sure biggrin.gif

You can plug it straight into PC as I do for these lesson or into amp as well wink.gif

awesome.. does it come with the usb chord?

Sorry for hijacking the thread!

FWIW, Ive seen the pocket pod in action and it looks pretty good.

Its small, not sure about 'pocket' but pretty small, and you can attach it and download tones.

It comes with a ridiculous number of presets, 300 i think, of which probably 30 will be usable, but it does look pretty good if you like that thing. Cheap too.

No,this unit is straight audio.
Has one stereo output jack so the best solution is to find stereo cable with one stereo jack on one side and two mono jacks on the other side.
That way you'll have full stereo from it.

No worries Ben,we were just chatting. smile.gif

Good question Dax.

This model PX4D is made for guitar and bass as well,so there are presets for both plus you can make your own sounds using amp modeling, cab selection, adding EFX etc. smile.gif
DRBguitar09
so basically you can lay down a guitar track singlecoil or humbucking mod. and a bass line all with one guitar?
Muris Varajic
Hmm... got ya now.
It has EFX like Synth Bass and Pitch Shifter as well, which means that you can lower sound of your guitar an octave down to get sort of bass sound.
But I'll still be fake, must have real bass guitar to record a bass track. smile.gif

Here it is at Korg.com...you can read all about its features HERE smile.gif
