Hey there...
I am looking to get a new guitar and i need some advice

may i know what guitars do u use in the videos..
I know there is a fender strat. do you use any les pauls or SGs?
Kristofer Dahl
Hey there smrt173,

I don't use SG or Les Paul.

I use a parker nitefly which I love because of it's graphite fretboard and special steel frets - which makes it incredible easy to bend and do vibrato.

I also have a strat which I love because of the sound - I am thinking about scalloping it to make bending etc easier! smile.gif

Are you going to scallop the whole board or just the upper frets Kris?

And I have to agree that the nitefly bends amazingly wub.gif I'd love to get my hands on those mahogany hxh ones for a different kind of tone too.

I am thinking about all the frets except the five lowest ones - I should ask Lavendell about this though! smile.gif

Sounds good to me, but then again I've never played a scalloped board.

How much does your nitefly cost kris? which model is it? i know there are some that are like $2000 and some that are cheaper.
JVM
I'm fairly sure me kris and david have very similar variations on the nitefly which would have cost around $1400 new, but also that we all bought them used i think tongue.gif I got mine for $700ish. I'm not sure about Jeff's but it looks like a nitefly-m, which is another variation on the nitefly that goes for the same price. I want one though, not just because I love niteflys but because it's a dual humbucker mahogany nitefly biggrin.gif

Well that's almost true. I couldn't stand restringing it because of the floyd rose tuning process etc.

I sweat a lot form my hands I need to constantly change strings - with floyd rose it's a nightmare.

With the parker and the deluxe strat guitar it's a dream - since you have those locking things on the tuning knobs. (ok someone help me here - I have no idea what this is called laugh.gif )
