Hi Mr Muris biggrin.gif

So i was thinking, I really love this track as you know. It looks challenging and fun to play!

I was wondering what you might think about the idea of a Mojo Oro lesson? I know its a really long peice of music, but maybe a shortened version with all the techniques?

Keep up the good work!

It is no less than incredible. I am only 26 now, but when i was 16 the internet had just taken off. The best you could hope for was to spend an hour downloading a few small bits of information or pictures and that would be it!!

Now with high speed access I have polite and friendly guitar teachers worldwide..... I mean wow.
I think young children today may take the internet for granted as it has always been there for them!

But for those of us who had no internet once, and grew up with it we have had the chance to see it mature - and i feel honoured for that!!

I have a live Teacher, but my teacher is not a technical player (but he is a musical man). I can gain all my technical expertise online...daily... NICE ! wink.gif

Absolutely Matt. smile.gif

Off topic but related to old times, you remember Commodore 64? laugh.gif

Of course, all my friends had one and i was jealous. Then on my 11th birthday a very kind aunt bought me a Commodor Amiga 500 + and that is where my interest in computers started! biggrin.gif

I actually have a real fascination with retro/old computer systems smile.gif
Muris Varajic
Ohh yeah, and good old Amiga. biggrin.gif

My favorite game for that was "James Pond" which was about a fish laugh.gif laugh.gif

So in conclusion, Mojo Oro is awsome and Commodore's are cool laugh.gif wink.gif

laugh.gif I remember the Cassettes.... They were so troublesome, i remember sitting there while my friend would rewind the entire tape - and the games took so long to load up!! laugh.gif laugh.gif

we used to play a game called "Dizzy" on that, it was about an egg who could walk around and talk? blink.gif
Muris Varajic
Dizzy laugh.gif Yeah!! biggrin.gif

Do we have to learn it at "boost" speed ? unsure.gif
Tjchep

Well you can increase speed as much as you want
but lesson is gonna be at original tempo which is 170bpm,
boost version is approx 190-195 bpm. smile.gif

Well let me tell you,
Emir nailed it in like half an hour
and he wasn't completely sober, sort of speak. laugh.gif
Déjà vu
YES! I tried sooo hard over summer break to figure this out! But I did not succeed sad.gif.

EDIT: I think my problem may have been that I was tabbing out the "boost" video (watching is useful for transcribing). ohmy.gif

Not sure how far I will get with the speed, but it's a good picking exercise, so I will keep practicing smile.gif

I just got a question.
That synth of the backing, is it playing in the same patch as the guitar ? I guess it isn't, but what is it playing ? An octave or a third lower ? Something like that ? ^^

And another question, not refering to the lesson.
Can you upload the mp3 of Junk Medley ? biggrin.gif
Muris Varajic
Well synth is sometimes playing same thing as the guitar, sometimes in octave,
sometimes it's 3rd,varies. smile.gif

Speaking of Junk Medley, few days ago it has been released
through Lion Music label,Guitar Idol 2008 compilation,
check it out there and give some support for
me and those great players. biggrin.gif
