It was great,saw many cool things,lots of fun etc.
Unfortunately I don't have much time for resting,have rehearsal and recording session in one hour

Tell us more about your trip, please

This is the story.

Our diplomacy arranged cultural visit to Egypt,to present our music,dances,meals etc.
40 people crew,minister of culture,band,singers,dancers,cooks,painters etc.
I played with our main sevdah star,sevdah is our traditional music.
And in a meanwhile we visited musems,libraries,Pyramids etc.

Ah, I'm incredibly jealous! Someday, I would love to just take off for a few years, and travel the world, see all there is to see... Maybe eventually settle down in Spain.

COOL! Man, that is what I like about music work, it uncertain to some extent, but just that uncertainty is what people get addicted to. Oh, and off cource there are "down sides" to the buisness like trips to Cairo hehe....

It was cultural visit to Egypt,
we played Bosnian traditional music etc.

I must have missed that line I always read all the threads before posting... Sorry Muris
That's good, to share traditional music around outside its "traditional" area... I hope they appreciated!

No worries,we all miss things here and there
Yeah it was great,to meet new people and to share your culture with them,pretty nice must say.

But one thing really stuck my mind,dunno how to call it in english,maybe "arranging the price"
Anyhow,there are no viewable prices on stuff,suvenirs,most of items you wanna buy,
so you have to arrange price with the seller "in the walk".
So we had situation like this:
Me and about 15 guys from the crew went into one store to buy Sfinga figure,small one.
And we did,each with different price,from 5 up to 200 egyptian pounds

We call that "Haggling" in Britain
