Hello Kris, hope you are well and having a good day.

I have just one question i would like to ask. Well today i got my guitar and i love it and for the past few hours i have been playing through your excellent beginner lessons, now after that time my fretting fingers are hurting slightly, is this normal? Just that i was not expecting something so great and fun to hurt after a while. smile.gif

Merry Christmas

From Adam.

sorry kris to beat u to the post but i figure its christmas so your not around

yes thats normal becuase your fingers will start to develop caluses. they get hard and after a while you wont feel any pain.

Oh thats cool, thank you for the reply, any way to make them stronger faster? Since i'm not looking for a quick fix but i love learning but at times i have to stop which as you probably know when you are really motivated stopping isn't the best thing to do.

Not really any way to speed it up and but rest and play again, rest and play again. They will get used to the finger abuse eventually laugh.gif

Your fingers should grow stronger and not hurt anymore soon. But if it hurts too much stop immediately.
