Hey gmc,
I really want to be able to sweep... I don't know how and I'm really bad at it currently. But what are some good starting sweeps? Should I be practicing, 3 string, 4 string, 6 string sweeps? What are some easy ones to start with and slowly build up?

try Pavels 3 string sweeping lessons. I suggest you start with those, remember to start SLOWLY. Then you can try 5 string arpeggios, there are some really easy shapes to start with, again, start SLOWLY with these too.
