Anyone here have any experience or used a Panasonic PV-GS36 MiniDV before?
I'm shopping around on ebay for a good, but reasonable cam
Edit: eh.. i have clue how i managed to post this in album reviews
Can a mod move it?

Well, I really do not know the particular model, but this is a good brand and in general almost all the MiniDV's in that price range are the same stuff basically. Important thing is to buy a long firewire cable and to have a remote maybe if you record on tape first.

Panasonic is a good cam brand you can't go wrong with it..Like Ivan said that "home" cams are practically all the same..MiniDV is a great format..The price depends then on lens, optical zoom abilities, nightshot option, how it tolerates low light, mic input, remote and add ons like that..
