well...right knowe my favorite is Chriss Cornell, and I find his style of singing very much interesting, his voice make's me beleve what he sing and it is great support to his lyrics...
but whe I was younger...so manny singers had their influence on me and my voice.....James Hetfield(when I started to sing),Villie Valo,Serj Tankian.....and that period when I listen SOAD did influece so much on my stile of singing...

How could I forget Scott Weiland from my list. But only for STP stuff. Velvet Revolver are useless but I blame that on Slash being rubbish. I love Interstate Love Song by STP

I actually don't pay too much atention on a good singer's voice, so don't really know, but female jazz voices I like, like Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan.

Well, let's see:
matt bellamy - Muse. I love his singing...
Antony from Antony and the Johnsons - It's something totaly different then rock, but I really love his voice. Deep black vibrating voice.
Also a good and clear voice is the one from Rufus Wainwright. Either no rock stuff, but also very good.
James LaBrie - Dream Theater has also a very good voice... I can't reach his hights
These are a few good singers I love...

Rufus Wainwright is awesome. James LaBrie has always been the weak aspect of DT for me.
