hi there, here you´ll find my presets for LINE 6 POD XT.

Would it be possible for you to list the settings for your pod? I have a pod 2.0 and haven't figured out how to download and install settings onto it.

hey juan, a lot of things! I use my pod xt, randall amps, 2 guitars: yamaha rgx321 fp with dimarsio picks Evolution DP159 (which I use in video lesson) and a friend´s Gambale Ibanez .
I tuned down to Bb, to emulate a 7 strings, I recorded 3 lines per side (3 to the left, 3 to the right)

How do i transfer that download on to my xtlive i am new to the xtlive just got it today.

well you have to use a software as GearBox provided by Line 6, with your xtlive connected by USB to your computer.
then open the file you downloaded and then "save to POD XT" I think in your case it will appear "save to POD XT live"

yes, presets are made on gearbox so I think you´ll have no problems in all PODs.

well man, they are so different.
on the right hand we have the POD: floorboard+amp simulation+multi effect.
on the other hand, BOSS: floorboard with multi-effect.

so, question is, what do you want?
if I´d have to chose, I´d take the POD X3 for sure. the amp simulation is awesome, and you can set up every head using free software GearBox. also, you can add many presets from many guitar player around the world. (I have a lot of them and just no time to proof them all) XD

well man, I got a POD XT and Gabriel Leopardi has a X3 live, to be honest I see no so many differences between them about sounding quality. surfing for a while on the net I found this comparation may could help you.

# XT has 36 guitar amps, X3 has 76
# XT has 84 stompbox and studio effects, X3 has 98
# XT has no vocal preamps (or vocal input), X3 has 6
# XT is USB 1.1, X3 is USB 2.0 (faster) conneciton
# XT can do one tone at once, X3 can blend 2 patches together
# XT has a smaller LCD display, X3’s is nearly double the size
# XT has traditional out, X3 has S/PDIF and XLR out in addition to 1/4″ jacks
