Is it possible to download the backing track that go with the video lessons? i have tried but i can't see any way of doing it.

Not at this time. If there is a specific one you want to work on, ask the instructor whos lesson it is and they may be able to help you out by sending you the BT over the forum. Ask them through their instructor board.
PS: Can we get some kind of sticky on this or something? Crops up alot..
