Hi Muris,
Since a while i'm practicing your "Bb Minor Phrasing" lessons. In the advanced lesson (bar 7) is a ascending 3 note per string legato run. In general when doing legato runs like this, i usually use one down stroke for the first note on the next string (i try to pick the notes similar to sweep picking i guess), but even when i try to pick the notes really careful, the first note always stands out in the run and it doesn't sound really fluid. Now i have noticed in the video of this lesson that you pick the notes with an upstroke.
My question is .. are you using an upstroke there for the same reason to avoid to accent the first notes?
I have tried it, but at the moment it does not feel natural and i can not say if it will make any differences.
Thank you !
