Hey there,

Here is my take on your Harmonic Minor for Beginners lesson smile.gif
Some mistakes here and there, but in my opinion it sounds good biggrin.gif

I like it, maybe would add more "power" to the guitar, but all in all I like it much:) Commented also on Youtube ( Gorim ) smile.gif

DeepRoots
Great take Max biggrin.gif

What did you use to record/mix?
Muris Varajic
That was very well done Max,thumbs up!!

There are some small timing issues
at the beginning of the video but nothing major indeed.
Btw,I see you're holding the pick between index and middle finger
while performing tapping with middle finger.
Is there a specific reason for doing it like that or? smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif
There is no specific reason for that, it's just the most comfortable for me for holding the pick and doing tapping smile.gif

I see. smile.gif
Have you tried to keep the pick between thumb and index
while doing tapping with middle finger?
I saying this because sooner or later you'll run into licks
that include fast shifting between picking and tapping,
the way you're doing it now might cause you some troubles eventually. smile.gif

Yeah, you are right. It definetely causes me trouble to switch between tapping and picking. I should get rid of that habit as soon as possible, but it's so comfortable rolleyes.gif laugh.gif
Muris Varajic
I glad you realize that. smile.gif
However there's another option.
Since you want to lay your thumb on the top of the neck
(I believe that is what gives you this comfort)
then you can try to hold pick with index finger only,
you'll still have thumb and middle fingers free
and you'll be able to return pick between thumb
and index finger much faster, try it. wink.gif

I tried the two possibilities now and I will defintely stick to hold the pick between thumb and index finger smile.gif
Feels good and I can change fast enough between picking and tapping
Thanks for making me pay attention on that habit, Muris smile.gif
Cheers

I'm pleased to hear that it helped, you're very welcome. smile.gif
