Got bored today and decided to restore my old Kaman GTX 23. It's in a really bad shape.
It's even got some psychedelic wallpaper glued on the body as a "finish" But thats a whole other story.
Anyhuu, after i had desoldered the pickups i noticed that the bridge humbucker was actually a DiMarzio DP156 Humbucker from Hell!
Forgot all about even upgrading that old guitar Must have been in 1994 or something.
Going to test that one on my Ibanez instead. It's in desperate need of a better neck pickup.
Not sure why it was in the bridge position.. it's pimarily recommended as a neck pup. No wonder that guitar sounded like a treble-monster.
