I'm 36 from Detroit, MI and have been messing around with a guitar since I was 16. However, I never learned how to play. Just would play this or that. It was more of a once in a while hobby. Last week I was on You Tube and searched on Zakk Wylde and found Kris doing his Borat type impression. I found that hillarious, and followed onto the site. And after a few days of checking back to the site, I decided to make the investment.
I started with some beginner scales and have been working on them and I am very excited on the possibilities. Kris makes it easy to understand, and fun. Hell, I knew I didn't have any timing, and never understood how to use the metronome or even had one! After watching the Metronome video it was clear to understand, and I'm going to get one this weekend to practice with!
I use a Ibanez Ex1500 I bought in 1993, a Line 6 PodXT Live and a Marshall Practice amp.
