Hi... I'm Maris and I'm from Romania...I'm 17 years old (almost 18) and i play guitar for 3 or 4 years , but I'm not that good...i never studied guitar or music very hard or serious...but this summer I want to improve my playing and i hope I'll do that here at GMC...have a nice day!!!

Tell us a bit more about yourself : that's your favourite musical styles and your favourite bands?

Hi Stephane...i listen to a lot of genres ...from blues and jazz to extreme metal...I don't really have a favorite band or bands, but i listen to thinks like this : Death, Django Reinhardt,Accuser, Camel,Pink Floyd,Suicidal Angels, Vektor, Led Zeppelin, Emir Hot, Joe Satriani...I know that these bands are very different from one to another...and as I said early i listen to a lot of genres depending on how I feel.

Hi Maris and welcome to GMC That's a very diverse list of bands there.. but diversity is good ! Which guitarists do you feel most influenced by out of that list ? For me, I think listening to Joe Satriani helped me develop melody and fee and inspired me to want to get betterl

@Ben Higgins: Thanks!!! I think i am the most influenced by Chuck Schuldiner from Death and Alex Skolnick from Testament (not on the list) and i like his jazz trio.
