hello
my guitar teacher gave me this assignment: soloing with G minor penatonic scale (in all the five shapes, he prefers to think of the scale across the freatboard instead of the boxes) over a slow sad blues backing track (Gm/Cm/Gm/Eb7/D7 is the chord progression). can someone point me to a GMC lesson which can give me some idea.

Maybe this backing track helps...it's not bluesy, but you can play a slow solo to it:
