It's a small world
I've got this same unit in my rack. It's not expensive, sounds great, rack mounts, flexible routing, almost bullet proof. Just a great unit. I've backed over mine with my car and it still works. All steel contsruction RAWKS.

I could not agree more. You can pick one of these up used really cheap and they are so handy when you need to give a headphone mix to a few folks during tracking session or just letting others listen in. Or heck, having different headphones just to see how a mix translates. Just leave them plugged in.

Sometimes I need two headphones, or to change to speakers, or some other options, and this headphone preamp is serving me nicely for that for some time now. If you're looking for way to distribute your sound from the audio card, look no further, as this device can help:
You can patch two sources in, one main and one aux, main signal is going through balanced connectors out of the device for other devices (very useful), and you can choose sources, and mix them in the headphones. For anybody running a small studio, this is a nice and cheap solution.
