My favourite soundtrack he has done was for The Ring. The movies aren't my favourite, but his music was definitely chilling. Below, I have linked a very beautiful piece that he wrote for it. It is the only song in the OST that wasn't meant to be scary.

This one is called Let the Dead Get In. It is a remix of Shelter Mountain that has it's own awesome elements. I am a big fan of both. The contrast of these two songs compared to the rest of the OST is staggering.

His stuff is just BRILLIANT! There's another modern composer which I like - he did some film scores but he is focused on different stuff and his name is Ludovico Einaudi!
