Hi there,

Sometimes I want to play with a headphone so other people Don't here me play when it's in the evening.

But what Headphone should I buy ?
I looked at the Sennheiser RS 180 this one is wireless but I heard that there was a small delay because of the wireless function.

So that's not an option anymore. Playing guitar with a small delay is irritating.
My budget is arround the 150 euro.

Does anyone have anny suggestions ?

I'm on my second pair of Sony's in ten years. MDR-V900HD, I got them for $160 USD off evilBay. Looks like Amazon's right in that range too. Can even be used with low-power devices like my iPod and it still kicks much butt.

Yep, This is a good headphone indeed! Besides the sound - its comfortable to wear either.
An alternative might also be the : AKG K271 MK 2

I would like to know if there are any headphones that are good for home music production/mixing and somewhat mastering? Basically to replace having regular audio monitor speakers and still get decent results. Is there something like that out there?

p.s. I have been using sennheiser hd 465 over the years for some recording/band rehearsals and these sound pretty good. They do color the sound (in a positive way).

I'm using AKG K141Studio, and they are great. They don't color the sound at all, which is not only good for mixing and mastering, but also for games and movies. Very precise headphones. I would recommend this, I think it's even cheaper then your budget, and it's probably one of the safest options out there

The AKG K141 Studio is not for sale here anymore. I have found the AKG K 540 (Black). Is that about the same ?
the price is about € 82,50.

I was using AKG IP2 headphones,but one channel stopped working, probably contacts ! Yeah,worth every penny

I'm using Sennheiser eH 150... they are relatively cheap and sound really good!

Try DR DRE headphones they are a little more but you will get a top level headphones!

That Sennheiser is only 36 euro about $30 dollar. That's realy cheap.

$300 is realy above my price range :-) I have another guitar for that money

These are the ones I have, really comfortable and a fairly neutral sound, good for tracking guitars with, and making rough mixes if you have to mix by headphone rather than monitors

Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro - check the ohm as there were several different versions - is about the only one really good enough for mixing at a level where you could use them instead of 2 way monitors Bogdan. Sadly though I think they discontinued the good version a few years ago and so now you're probably stuck with a single 250 ohm one.

Mastering - headphones give a false impression of the spectral range and do not reproduce the stereo soundstage. I really would recomend that you do NOT use headphones to 'master'.
