Heres something I posted a demo of before which some people wanted to see a video for so here it is! smile.gif

As well as this, a new one I just started working on. Not the best recording but it was only done quick!

I really like it man. The tone is perfect for that style! I really like how you put multiple skills together. While this piece seems simple I can tell it's something that requires incredibly accurate vibrato and feel in order to achieve the shown outcome.

A+ man!

While this might be your first recording, I highly agree TreyDeschamp. The bends and vibrato aren't perfect yet. I also feel that you are playing on the same octave or scale (sounds on the same set of notes) which sounds a bit sleepy. You have to have some dynamics and high / low playing along with 1 or 2 fast sections to engage the listener. Just my view. smile.gif

Great tune my friend! Very pleasant to listen. If I could only suggest one thing - try to be very precise while tuning Your guitar...seems like those little tuning issues give some unnecessary loss to whole track.Sound like the solo is at a little too low pitch comparing to backing wink.gif But anyway idea for the song is very interesting smile.gif

Man let me say that I love the style and I love the song! Really great job.

I agree with what the guys said as far as minor adjustments to make things even better and also to add to what Chandra was saying about dynamics, check out this video. You get the idea pretty quick how he goes high and low. It's a very similar style and I thought it might help to illustrate it.

Anyway, great job again on the track. Looking forward to future versions.

Edit: looks like the video embed is not working. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hc3DZsjiK0

This is so cool mate. I love the feeling of your song. The phrases are very warm and enjoyable. I can relate your playing a bit with John Frusciante but your technique is even more precise. Keep on exploring this side of your playing. Congratulations! smile.gif

Very nice idea mate! Good groove and melodies, but I thing Darius' suggestion is very welcome and you should take care of the tuning smile.gif Post more recordings, aye?
LiamMacL45
Thanks for the feedback smile.gif Suppose Ill just answer the main points since its mostly all the same.

Its great that pretty much everyone seems to like it, as for the tuning thing I can see where you are getting it from but I tuned my guitar perfectly as I always do when I start playing. In fact other than yesterday when I tuned my guitar down a half step I havn't had to tune it at all since it stays in tune so well.

And yes I will be doing more recordings smile.gif

First this isn't my first recording ever, although I am new to it, that shouldn't really be an important point in this tongue.gif

But anyway I thought I'd answer this separately since I wasn't sure what you meant by sleepy. The piece is meant to be laid back and relaxed, almost to the point where you could fall asleep listening to it in the back ground so I might just take sleepy as a good thing.
I know I play a lot in the same place although for this one I didn't feel going higher really worked so I stayed around the middle with a bit which is lower. I am working on improving my soloing in particular though smile.gif
